I was born in Uganda, came to America in 1999 and graduated from Nursing a few years later excited to attain the American Dream. However, in 2013, I found myself in the same rat-race as many hardworking nurses, feeling like a slave to my own paycheck, without alternative income streams, extremely burnt-out and fed up with the stress and work trauma that comes with the nursing career.
